Ascesia is a large continent located in the northern and western hemispheres and the second largest and most populated of the "Old World" continents (after Ereana). Ascesia has a long history of civilisation and is named after the civilisation of the Ascesians that originated along the continent's southern coasts and dominated most of it for half of the first millennia BCE and CE.
Ascesia is divided into thirty-one nations located on the continent's mainland or on neighbouring islands. It is the richest per inhabitant on Eshraval with an average per capita income of 28,939 Rallods though there is a great disparity with the lowest per capita at 4,734 Rallods (Nation A9) and the greatest at 44,208 Rallods (Nation A27, the world's third).
