The Conquillor (ѳ) is the official currency used in Ibothia. The currency was in loose use before 1811, but the then Prince Enric I centralised the minting of Conquillor to the Central Bank of Ibothia, and most of the other currencies used in Ibothia became obsolete, with the exception of some foreign currencies.
The name conquillor comes from the Ibothian word conquilla (or alternatively the Savamese word coquillage) meaning seashell. Earlier on in Ibothia, shells were often collected and traded as an original currency.
In 1982, the conquillor was pegged to the more stable Savamese Pound at a rate of ѳ1=0.18598LC. As a result, the value of the Conquillor fluctuates at an almost equal rate as the Pound, in comparison to the Rallod.
