The Ibothian people (Ibothian: poble ivocian) is an ethnic group primary found in Ibothia, in southern Ascesia, its neighbouring countries and also on various Prothenian Ocean islands thanks to limited Ibothian colonisation. The Ibothians are usually defined by their language (Ibothian), however as many also tend to speak Savamese, other characteristics are often used such as being practitioners of Jakarist and having darker skin tones than their Ascesian neighbours. In past times, there were false claims by Ibothians that they were genetically taller than people of other Ascesians, however modern studies have proven this tale to be false.

The Ibothian people make up the largest ethnic group in Ibothia with two out of every three people claiming to Ibothian heritage.
